Wisconsin Tai Chi Academy was founded in 2015 by our Instructor, Ray Gates, when he moved to the United States from Australia. Ray believes everyone can and should enjoy the benefits of practicing Tai Chi and Qigong. His aim is to make Tai Chi accessible to anyone who wants to try it.

There is much to explore in Tai Chi and Qigong practice, and Wisconsin Tai Chi Academy aims to cater to all levels of ability and interest. Whether you are looking to practice a low impact form of exercise, explore a martial art (taijiquan), or gain a deeper understanding of your own health and well-being, Wisconsin Tai Chi Academy will have something to offer you.
